OpenAid is happy to announce its newest team member.

We are still small, but we are growing and we are happy that Dorosella Bishanga Ferdinand has joined the OpenAid team. Dorosella is from Tanzania and passionate about how domestic stakeholders including civil society can promote accountability and democratic governance.

In order to pursue this interest professionally she will soon start her MA in Public Policy and Good Governance studies (Democratic Governance and Civil Society) at the University of Osnabrück in Germany. Prior to coming to Germany Dorosella has been working for several years in Humanitarian Agencies including United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Committee of the Red Cross, and development cooperation with the Embassy of Ireland Tanzania, Dar es Salaam. Her experience includes governance monitoring, CSO strategic planning, NGO funding and project monitoring, media networking and policy dialogue. She is fluent in Kiswahili, English and German.
