The International Aid Transparency Initiative has set out to develop a data standard to increase transparency in international development cooperation and facilitate access to information. In the past year several online consultations have taken place to invite suggests and feedback on which data donors should publish and in which way. Currently the final round of consultation takes place on the IATI consultation page. Topis of this consultation are the publication of qualitative information in documents, project results and project conditions. Other important issues are activity budgets and planned disbursements and how to align donor data to partner country budgets. In addition stakeholders are asked to comment on the framework of how to implement the IATI standard. The consultation in English will close on December 22nd. The consultation in Spanish and French one week later.
